Bob and Martha Hanyak Audiology Student Travel Endowed Fund: Bob and Martha are both Pacific alumni and have been great supporters of the University. Bob is recognized as the founding father of Pacific’s Audiology program. The fund they endowed will provide student financial aid support in the form of an endowment to help send Audiology students to the professions’ state or national conferences. The intent is that these experiential learning opportunities will prepare students for tomorrow’s careers and for lifelong success as well as to broaden their Pacific experience by offering them unique learning opportunities that will prepare them to become outstanding healthcare practitioners.

The Hanyak’s belief is that this conference attendance will provide our students with experiential exposure through the following: networking, presenting, and exploring research, studying innovative techniques and technologies, and professional development/career opportunities and leadership. Established in 2018 and $4,000 in award dollars to be given in total annually to allow several students each year to help lessen the expense of attending a conference.
