University of the Pacific Hearing and Balance Center at Stockton offers Doctor of Audiology externship programs to fourth year students. We open these externships up to all Doctor of Audiology students, not just those attending University of the Pacific.
The purpose of these externships is to provide participants with practical field experience in their area of study. This is a fantastic opportunity for students to apply their knowledge to the actual practice of audiology by caring for patients. An externship is also a prerequisite for state licensure and American Speech-Language-Hearing Association certification.
